Question: I received a postcard or phone call notifying me that someone is going to inspect my property. What does this mean?
Answer: Under the terms and conditions of Broome Co-operative policies, the company is permitted, but not obligated to inspect insured’s property and/or operations. Our inspection or any resulting advice or report does not warrant that your property or operations are safe, healthful in compliance with any law, rule or regulation. We have independent inspectors that go out in the field to inspect properties. If someone contacts you and you are not sure who they are, please feel free to contact Broome Co-operative to verify that they are a representative of the company.
Question: I have a change to my policy, what do I do?
Answer: You will have to notify your independent agent or Broome Co-operative directly of any change in coverage or to update personal information such as address or contact numbers. Any change needs to be submitted in writing before an endorsement can be made. When any change to a policy occurs, a new declaration page will be sent to you.
